Learning outcome
Participants will write to express their thoughts after listening to several songs (TBD)
Participants will do the following upon hearing musical selections: Sequence events, summarize ideas, identify conflicts and resolutions, and identify cause and effect relationships, analyze characters, & problem solutions through group discussion.
Participants will reflect on their roles as a father; their relationship with fathers, and their relationship with their children.
The Hour Glass session is designed to provide the audience with a physical and metaphorical sense of time and power. Introduce the Hour-glass session to focus on one Power Analysis at this time, however, clearly note that multiple hour glasses in full effect each day of our existence (multiple sizes, may be in harmony, or may be in conflict with another).
Throughout this process, ask the men whether they had ever gone through something similar. Does this ring a bell for any of you? Have you ever experienced something similar? Acknowledging the shared experience and maintaining objectivity in your responses to participants is important.
